A Message from the Administrative Director
Thank you for your interest in American Montessori Campus. My name is Jana Fiasconaro and I am honored to be the Administrative Director for this new and innovative Campus. I have been in the kid business for the past twenty six years and am a proud member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, T.A.E.Y.C, as well as past secretary, past vice president and current member of C.C.A.E.Y.C. I also have a role as a member of the Collin County Community College, Early Childhood Advisory Board and have secured my C.D.A. and Montessori Certification.

I have to tell you that, when this incredible new concept was brought to my attention, a little light bulb went off in my head. Cozy Care for children with minor illnesses, offered by partnering with a Pediatrician and her highly trained staff of Pediatric Nurses, just astounded me! I can honestly say that, in all my years of working in the field of Early Childhood Development, there has never been such a brilliant notion brought to the table. As a dedicated care giver, you constantly strive to meet the needs of the families you serve, but this truly takes the cake. Being able to offer a child the solid foundation in his or her formative years through the Montessori Method of teaching and really meeting the needs of the entire family is the kind of opportunity for which a Child Care Administrator yearns.

Dr. Naz is the Pediatrician in partner and will accept children from American Montessori at a discounted hourly rate, assuring that the child will be in exceptional hands while the parent meets their obligations and demands. Dr. Naz will have a specially designed area on the same property where the children can rest and play when feeling up to it.

The Campus itself will offer infant, toddler and preschool education, housing seven classrooms, a computer lab, two separate developmentally appropriate outdoor play areas, children’s gardens directly outside each pre-primary and primary classrooms back door, along with a fantastic indoor recreational area. This state-of-the-art facility will have a key pad entry, observation windows in all classrooms and closed circuit cameras strategically mounted throughout the entire building for extra security.

Montessori-certified staff are required for all pre-primary and primary classrooms, giving the opportunity for your child to reach his or her maximum potential. A Montessori classroom is designed so that each child works at their own pace and is given the freedom to choose the work they are interested in or that sparks their interest. Dr. Maria Montessori believed that repetition of any task allows the child to focus, gaining self control, and that, given the proper tools during the absorptive time in the life of a child, he or she gets the opportunity to cultivate self-control of impulses, a sense of responsibility for one's self and the welfare of their environment, along with numerous coping mechanisms, while increasing confidence and encouraging the child to welcome challenge.

In my eyes, Dr. Maria Montessori was a genius with her world renowned methodology, playing a gigantic role in the formative years of hundreds of thousands of children. The Montessori Method is a proven educational phenomenon that offers the ability to absorb all aspects of one's culture and the environment, allowing the child opportunity to reach his or her maximum potential.

We invite you to come and visit American Montessori Campus and we look forward to providing a great Montessori education for your child.
